*Longji terraced fields
Longji terraced fields is located in Mt. Longji the famous Longsheng Various Nationalities Autonomous County (Guangxi, China), and is about 22 km away from the county capital. It is 80 km from Guilin, between longitude 109 ° 32' 100 ° 14' and latitude 25 ° 35' 26 ° 17'. In the broad sense it is called the Longsheng terraced fields, but in the narrow sense it's called the Longji terraced fields.
Longji terraced fields are divided into the Jinkeng (Dazhai) Yao tribe terraced fields scenic area and the Pingan Zhuang tribe terraced field scenic area. Usually when people say Longji terraced fields, they are referring to the Longji Pingan Zhuang tribe terraced fields, which are fields developed earlier. The terraced fields are distributed between 300 meter to 1100 meter above sea level. The steepest slope can reach 50 degrees. The road to the terraced fields are almost all winding mountain roads until about 600 above sea level. The location of this terraced field is about 880 meter above sea level.

Mid April - end of June: rice paddy irrigation and planting
July - early/mid September: green
Mid/late September - early/mid November: Golden Longji
Mid/late December - early/mid February: covered in snow (Jinkeng terraced field scenic area)
March Longji rape flower bloom.

Longji terraced fields are beautiful year-round, but April the fields will be irrigated and September the rice will turn a majestic golden color.
